Who is Natalie behind Natsworldmap?
I’m Natalie, a huge travel enthusiast, in my 30s and from the Kent in the UK. I’m a travel blogger and accredited independent travel agent with a passion for exploring the world. 🌍
I’ve lived in Sydney for 3 incredible years, traveled across 35+ countries, and took a life-changing gap year in Australia & Asia. I’m also a keen hiker – I’ve trekked Machu Picchu, peaks in the Lake District, volcanic trails in Bali and Italy (including Pompeii), and even mountains in Tasmania. ✨☀️
But my real obsession? Volcanoes. 🌋 I’ve made it a personal goal to witness flowing lava, though the universe has tried to keep me at bay! My trips to Hawaii, New Zealand’s White Island, and Bali were all halted by eruptions or earthquakes just before I arrived. Despite the signs, I’m still determined to check this off my bucket list, with plans to visit volcanoes in Iceland, Nicaragua, and Guatemala next.
And when I’m not traveling or chasing volcanoes, you’ll find me on the golf course – though I’m still working on my swing! 🏌️♀️I’m a huge lover of house music, so I love festivals and dancing the night away in Ibiza. It has a very special place in my heart 🥹🫶🏼 expect lots of Ibiza content!
